Drumline Expectations

Overall, we want students to learn and have fun while playing in one of the best drum lines in the state of Kansas.  We will do our best to provide students with the proper knowledge to achieve that goal.  In order to accomplish that goal, students will need to commit to the following expectations:

• Will commit to learn and memorize all assigned music and drill.

• Will commit to do the necessary practice needed to accomplish curriculum criteria.

• Will participate in all rehearsals and performances during the marching season.

• Will participate in the Monday night rehearsals during marching season.

• Will participate in the Blue Jay Band Camp.

• Will participate in the JCHS Drumline Mini-Camp.

• Will be responsible for and take care of instruments, cases, equipment, music, sticks and mallets.

• Will respect my fellow band students and their equipment and instruments.

• Will follow all school, band, and drumline rules and regulations.
